
Arlington, Virginia artist Sandi Parker works in oil, with a specialty in Provence and Tuscan landscapes, seascapes, and youth sports.
An active member and former Board member of the Arlington Artists Alliance in Arlington, Virginia, Sandi is also a member of the Art League of Alexandria, Virginia, Falls Church Arts in Falls Church, Virginia and the Rehoboth Art League in Rehoboth, Delaware. Sandi exhibits and sells her work out of her studio/gallery at Stifel and Capra, 260 W. Broad Street, Falls Church, Va, at local cafes and offices in and around Arlington and at numerous art shows in the area. She has been awarded an equal merit award in an Art League of Alexandria all-media juried members show; had a piece accepted into the Arlington Artists Alliance 2007 color school show Irreplaceable Hue, juried by renowned color school artist Sam Gilliam, and was recently awarded Third Place for her painting "Hong Kong Marketplace" in the Show East Meets West, sponsored by the Arlington Artists Alliance and juried by Wilford W. Scott of the National Gallery of Art.
The Kids Fitting In Fund
Sandi donates a portion of proceeds from art sold to help lower income students at area middle and high schools in her hometown of Arlington through a fund she created called The Kids Fitting In Fund.
